I use this when I come home exhausted and want something hot and quick. 3 lb Hillshire Farm's Kielbasa 1 large white onion, sliced in strips 1 large red bell pepper, in strips 1 large green bell pepper, in strips 1 bottle Bennett's Chili Sauce 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tsp. Liquid Smoke 1/2 tsp. Cajun Seasoning 1 tsp. crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. oregano 14 oz. can tomato sauce pepper to taste White rice, cooked chili powder to taste (optional) Slice Kielbasa in 1/2 inch chunks, then cut each chunk in half. Put Kielbasa chunks in a LARGE skillet and heat to about 300 degrees. Cook about 10 minutes. Add sliced onion, garlic and bell peppers. Mix well and simmer about 10 minutes. Add other ingredients EXCEPT RICE, and simmer another 10 minutes. Serve over hot white rice. You may adjust seasonings to your liking. This is wonderful. Add chili powder to taste for a spicier entree. Serves 6 hungry people.
