Installing sTOP tHAT: In order to minimize download size, no installation program is included with sTOP tHAT. To install: 1) Create the subdirectory where you wish sTOP tHAT to be. This can be any new or existing directory, and DOES NOT need to be in the computer's PATH statement. 2) Use PKUNZIP (or similar program) to UNZIP the file STOPTH.ZIP in the new directory. 3) From Program Manager (or similar windows shell), pick FILE | NEW | Program Item to add the icon for sTOP tHAT. 4) Enter the path to the directory where you placed STOPTHAT.EXE. In most cases, sTOP tHAT icon is placed in the StartUP folder so that it is run every time Windows starts. What if I want to uninstall the program? All Wave Software programs are designed to run independent of any system modifications. Your AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI, and SYSTEM.INI files are not changed in any way by our products. To uninstall a Wave Software program, simply delete the program files. In some cases, there will be a private .INI file in the windows directory. The .INI file will have the name of the Wave application program as its name. This file may also be deleted. What do I get if I register? If you register sTOP tHAT, you will receive a code to add to the sTOP tHAT command line. This code will show that the program has been registered on the start up splash screen, as well as turn off the 45 day time-lock. If you chose to receive a disk, the latest version will be sent to you for an additional $5.00. In most cases, the version that you download will be current, and there is no need to receive the disk. What are the differences between the registered and unregisterd versions? 1) The splash screen. 2) There is a 45 day time-lock on the unregistered version. 3) The unregisterd version's icon cannot be hidden.
