How to use LANtastic NDIS support on 3C509
------------------------------------------

Add the following lines to CONFIG.SYS
-------------------------------------
DEVICE=C:\LANTASTI\PROTMAN.DOS /I:C:\LANTASTI
DEVICE=C:\LANTASTI\ELNK3.DOS

DEVICEHIGH= worked fine on the computer I used...


The lines in STARTNET.BAT before REDIR should look like this
------------------------------------------------------------

AI-NDIS BIND_TO=ELNK3 VERBOSE
AILANBIO
REDIR computer-name LOGINS=3 BUFFERS=2 SIZE=8192


The file PROTOCOL.INI in C:\LANTASTI should look like this

[PROTMAN]
  DRIVERNAME = PROTMAN$
  DYNAMIC = YES

[ELNK3]
  DRIVERNAME = ELNK3$


Files

Copy the following files from LANtastic NDIS support
diskette to C:\LANTASTI:
        AI-NDIS.EXE
        PROTMAN.DOS
        PROTMAN.EXE

PROTMAN.DOS is started in CONFIG.SYS, PROTMAN.EXE is used
by PROTMAN.DOS.

Copy the following files from the 3C509 diskette
to C:\LANTASTI:
        ELNK3.DOS

You will find it in the following directory:
        A:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\ELNK3
