To Do Manager for Windows (ver. 1.05) ToDoWin is a simple To-Do manager for Windows 3.1. Items are sorted by date and priority in a listbox, and color-coded to indicate status at a glance. It is designed to be simple to use, and small in size. Features include: - Listbox summary of items, color-coded by date/status. - Allowance for detail fields, up to 64k. - Dates can be assigned to an item, or the item can be left "undated", implying "to be done sometime". - Items can have an optional priority assigned (1 to 99). - A printout of items can be created, with selection of item ranges to include. - Multiple instances can be run, each with a different list (ie. Home & Office). - Full context-sensitive on-line help. This is a Shareware offering, with US$25 being requested. Version 1.05 works around bugs in certain Windows printer drivers that would cause them to crash when ToDoWin tried to print. Also, the behaviour of the icon when ToDoWin is minimized has been changed to make it more informative and less distracting, and some more minor user-interface changes were made. Please refer to TODOWIN.WRI for full details. Note: Operates under Windows 3.1 (or later) Also included in this ZIP are three useful utilities, a free gift from the author just for trying out ToDoWin. These utilities include: -The FM_UTILS extension DLL for File Manager, which allows users to add an extra menu with fully customizable entries to run *any* external program, passing in selected file names. FM_UTILS also allows you to specify certain programs to start with File Manager, and close when File Manager closes. Refer to FM_UTILS.TXT. -BURNIT.EXE is a simple drag'n'drop utility to delete files that are dropped on it from File Manager. This particular version is simple in that it does not allow "undeleting" of files dropped on it. Refer to BURNIT.TXT. -EXITEXEC.EXE is a simple utility that you set up as a program icon in Program Manager, along with a command line for a DOS program. When run, EXITEXEC will exit Windows entirely, run the specified DOS program, and restart Windows. Useful for those games and other programs that you simply can't run from within Windows. Refer to EXITEXEC.TXT. All of these utilities are contained in UTILS.ZIP, and full C source is available to registered users of ToDoWin.
