GrapeVine has many of the features found in other BBS packages and several unique features of its own. The first public version was released in June 1993. A support echo (area tag GRAPEVINE) is available for GrapeVine sysops and other interested parties. The echo is available on the FidoNet backbone. Third party support for GrapeVine is encouraged. A developers kit is available for utility authors. The kit contains file structures and technical information. A support echo (area tag GV_DEVELOPERS) is available specifically for third party developers.
