Dear Reviewer: Steve Meretzky has looked at the role-playing world through cracked lenses and the results will leave you laughing. His unique brand of wacky humor has found a new home in this exciting product that features hilarious monsters and mutant superheroes locked in mortal combat in a post nuclear American wasteland. From the wilds of suburban New Jersey to the top of the Empire State Building, lead the Superhero League of Hoboken into battle as you struggle to defeat the baddest bad guy of them all, the evil Dr. Entropy. ----------------------------------- For those who can most easily reproduce PCX files, we have included several here. COMBAT.PCX. - The combat interface features monsters across the top of the screen and Superheroes across the bottom. As you can see, Robo Mop ("No mess too large") has used a deadly swarm of trained hornets to attack the roving All-Mine mines. The fearsome mines were designed for super stealth, but due to a greed virus planted in the programming, they frequently give themselves away by crying, "Mine! Mine! All mine!" The remaining superheroes shown in this screen and their primary powers are as follows: The Crimson Tape - This character's extraordinary ability to "Create Organizational Charts" makes him a born leader of Superheroes. Captain Excitement - Converses in such a dull manner that he puts his opponents to sleep. Mademoiselle Pepperoni - Can divine the toppings of any pizza WITHOUT OPENING THE BOX!!! You've never seen monsters like these! The remaining PCX files depict a few from the game. TUPPER.PCX - Tuppers feature an air-tight compartment to store their kills until they are ready to digest them. Tuppers usually travel in fighting packs known as Tupper War Parties. MISTLE.PCX - Cruise Mistletoes are guided nuclear-tipped plant sprigs that can literally kiss a foe to death. SUPERMOM.PCX - Bred for child-rearing by radically anti-feminist fundamentalists, Supermoms have extraordinarily wide hips, massive mammaries and eyes in the backs of their heads. BUG.PCX - The Unrepeatable Bug is a rare but tenacious pest with unknown origins. It may have been created during a world-wide computer crisis on January 1, 2000, when many computer programs crashed because they could not recognize a year beginning with the number 2.
