 A new airplane for Microsoft Flight Simulator 5 (actually, as far as I know,
 the FIRST additional airplane for MS-FS5!).

  Installation: 
  -------------
  if you have the FS5a upgrade, just copy the file DC9SIMUL.AIR into the SIM 
  directory of Flight Simulator 5.

  If you do not have the FS5a upgrade, copy the file DC9SIMU0.AIR instead
  (please consider upgrading: it's FREE!).

  From FS5, select the Option menu and the Aircraft option: the SIMULA DC9
  will be listed together with the four standard aircrafts.  Select it and 
  look at the Spec window for a first preview.

  Features:
  ---------
  The SIMULA DC9 (actually it bears the colour of the Italian airline 
  company: Alitalia) sports some unprecedented (at least in FS) details:

  * all moveable surfaces are visible and moveable (flaps, ailerons, rudder,
    elevator, and SPOILERS at last!)
  * the wings are not flat planes but carved surfaces with a visible diaedron
  * nevertheless, they contain moveable surfaces and also these surfaces are
    modelled in 3D
  * thanks to FS5' Gouraud modelling, all curved surfaces have gradient 
    colours influenced by the sun position
  * at night, windows are lighted
  * at touch-down, the engine reversers are automatically engaged!

  Limitations:
  ------------
  * tail surfaces are not carved in 3D (yet...)
  * some details are missing (like the gear doors, and lights), because at last 
    I got bored...
  * the flight model is far from perfect: basically is the Learjet's, with
    small modifications; I'm still investigating and, if I'm lucky, I'll do
    better next time...
  * there is no inside view, because the inside view of a jetliner is only
    a wall!

 Un nuovo aereo per Microsoft Flight Simulator 5 (per quello che si sa, si
 tratta del PRIMO aereo aggiuntivo per Flight Simulator 5!)

 Installazione:
 --------------
 Se avete l'upgrade FS5.0a copiate il file DC9SIMUL.AIR nella directory SIM
 di Flight Simulator 5.

 Se non avete l'upgrade, copiate invece il file DC9SIMU0.AIR. Consigliamo
 l'upgrade in ogni caso: e' GRATIS!

 Da FS5, selezionate il menu Option e l'opzione Aircraft: il DC9 SIMULA 
 apparira' nella lista insieme agli altri quattro aerei standard di FS5.
 Selezionatelo e leggete nel menu Performances Specs le caratteristiche.

 Caratteristiche:
 ----------------
 Il DC9 SIMULA (in realta' ha la livrea Alitalia) presenta alcuni dettagli
 mai visti prima (almeno in FS5):

 * Tutte le superfici mobili sono visibili e hanno un movimento progressivo
   (flaps, alettoni, timone, profondita' e SPOILERS)
 * Le ali non sono piatte ma ma hanno la superficie curva con diedro visibile.
 * Le superfici mobili delle ali sono solide, modellate in 3D.
 * Grazie alla modellazione Gouraud di FS5, tutte le superfici curve hanno
   un gradiente di colore, influenzato dalla posizione del sole.
 * Di notte i finestrini sono illuminati.
 * Al touch-down gli inversori di spinta vengono inseriti AUTOMATICAMENTE!

 Limitazioni:
 ------------
 * I piani di coda non sono superfici curve (non ancora, almeno...)
 * Alcuni dettagli mancano (portelli del carrello, luci) perche' alla fine
   mi e' mancata la pazienza....
 * Il modello di volo non e' perfetto: in pratica si tratta dello stesso
   del Lear Jet, con piccole modifiche; sto ancora investigando e, se saro'
   fortunato, faro' meglio la prossima volta...
 * Non c'e' vista interna, perche' la vista interna di un liner e' solo un
   muro!
