HCKEDIT.TXT EA Sports NHL Hockey (c) Player Editor version 1.01 HOW TO RUN THE PROGRAM - Before you start I STRONGLY suggest you backup all ATT and KEY prefix Files - Copy the HCKEDIT.EXE file to the Main Hockey Directory or the League Sub-Directory that you want to edit. - Type in HCKEDIT.EXE at the Prompt. SOME NOTES TO TAKE IN - The program is very self explanatory and will stop you from doing illogical things to the players. - Note you can change players names and positions except for two cases: 1) The player is a goalie (can change the name not the position) 2) The player's name has extra characters in it. A couple of players I saw had a few letters one space after their first or last name. I don't know if changing these will crash the program but you can try it. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU BACK UP ANY ATT and KEY prefix FILES!!! - The editor directly edits the files so again BACKUP any ATT and KEY prefix files. HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM - 50 = team, will let you choose a new team to edit at specified prompts. - 75 = player, will let you choose a new player from the currently selected team. - 100 = exit, will exit the program and save the changes to all other ATT and KEY files in the current directory. - Note the editor doesn't take into account trades so if you trade a player onto your team and wish to edit him choose the team he was originally with. - I have bug tested this editor in every way I can think of but I take no responsibility for any problems this program may cause.
