[ RIM: SUGGESTED TOOLS FOR ICON EDITING, MANAGEMENT, AND CONVERTING ]

The following utilities are suggested as companion products to RIM.
They are not necessary, but will make your life even easier.

                             ICO2RBO (DOS)

ICO2RBO by Computational Support Systems (programmed by Dan Neuman)
is an excellent Shareware utility which converts any Microsoft Windows
icon to a RoboBOARD/FX icon.  ICO2RBO can be downloaded from Online
Resource at (619) 793-8360 in the RoboBOARD/FX Utilities file area.
This utility is great because there are literally thousands of Windows
icons already available.

                          IconMaster (Windows)

IconMaster by Phillip Kaufman is a great Windows utility for editing,
viewing and managing icons.  This is the best I have seen so far and
it is highly recommended.  It is Shareware, and can be downloaded from
Online Resource at (619) 793-8360 in the Windows file area.

Note, Microsoft Windows icons are 32 pixels wide by 32 pixels high
(32x32) while RoboBOARD/FX icons are just 30x30.  Keep this in mind
when designing icons using Icon Master, as you will lose two rows and
two columns when converting them to RoboBOARD/FX using ICO2RBO.
