 AB    Primary care clinicians caring for persons infected with the human
       immunodeficiency virus greatly contribute to public health efforts to
       combat the human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency
       disease epidemic in the United States. Primary care clinicians can
       assess the prevention needs of persons infected with the human
       immunodeficiency virus and ensure that needed prevention services are
       received.
