====== Band Plan for Windows(TM) Version 1.X Instructions ====== Band Plan is a graphical representation of U.S. amateur privileges from 160 meters to 23 centimeters. It contains mode and frequency information for Novice, Technician, Technician +, General, Advanced, and Extra licensees. It is designed as a quick reference guide that can be kept on-screen or minimized. Band Plan Version 1.X requires: 1)Microsoft Windows(TM) version 3.x running in Standard or 386 en- hanced mode. (Real mode or Windows 1.x or 2.x is NOT supported) 2)VGA. 3)A printer capable of printing graphics is desirable but NOT required. The distribution disk contains the following files: BPWIN.EXE The actual program BPWIN.HLP The help file ** The shareware version 1.20 help file was named BP.HLP. BPWIN.TXT This file To install Band Plan: (With Program Manager) RUN SETUP. The setup routine will try to install the files in a directory called C:\HAM . You can may change the default if you wish. The setup program will only create one new directory level. If you need to nest the program deeper, use File Manager to create the directory tree before running setup. To run Band Plan for Windows(TM): 1) Double Click the icon. 2) Select the frequency range you are interested in. 3) Select the band. * You may run more than one copy of Band Plan at once.
