Installing Velocipede (TM) 1.0.0 -------------------------------- 1. Since you are reading this file, you have already unzip'ed the file. I advice you to put all the files in the ZIP file in a directory created for this program only (the Velocipede directory). 2. After you have placed all the file in the Velocipede directory, then move the following files the windows system directory (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM): GRAPH.VBX GRID.VBX THREED.VBX MFC200.DLL GSWDLL.DLL GSW.EXE The easiest way is to use File Manager to move the files from the velocipede directrory to the windows system directory. If some of the files already exsist in the windows system directory, you should only move a file if the file in the system directory is older that the file supplied with Velocipede. None of the files above are needed in the Velocipede directory. So if you don't move them to the windows system directory, you can delete them. These files should remain in the Velocipede directory: BM2BIN.EXE - Bike Manager to Velocipede converter program VELO.EXE - Velocipede VELO.DEF - Used by windows VELO.HLP - Velocipede help file VELO.INI - Sample VELO.INI help file. FAQ.HLP - Rec.Bicycles.* FAQ help file. INSTALL.TXT - This file. 3. Restart windows. 4. Add Velocipede to a program group window. You can do this by using the File Manager. Go to the Velocipede directory, select VELO.EXE and drag it to a group window and drop it. The Velocipede icon will appear in the group window. Try to start Velocipede by double clicking on the icon. Note that Velocipede is a shareware program. You may use the program for a short time for evaluation. If you intend to use the program on a regular basis, you should register you copy of the program. Good luck - Joern Yngve Dahl-Stamnes.
