To install the shareware version of WinEZ Pro you will need an uncompressing
utility compatible with PKWare's PKZIP v2.0.  WinEZ Pro, shareware version, is
distributed as a single file.  This file is compressed in ZIP format.

To install WinEZ Pro:
---------------------
   1. Create a subdirectory on your hard disk where WinEZ Pro will reside.

      eg.  MD C:\WINEZPRO

   2. Copy the WEZPxx.ZIP file to that directory.  (WEZPxx.ZIP is the
      distributed file for WinEZ Pro, where xx is the version number.
      i.e.  WEZP14.ZIP - WinEZ Pro version 1.4).

      eg. COPY A:\WEZP14.ZIP C:\WINEZPRO\WEZP14.ZIP

   3. UnZIP this file in the target directory.

      eg. PKUNZIP WEZP14.ZIP

      This will extract all of the necessary files for WinEZ Pro.  Once
      extracted you should find the following files:

      WINEZPRO.EXE     Main program
      WEZPNDW.DLL      Used by WINEZGRP.EXE to read Norton Desktop groups
      WEZPWIN.DLL      Used by WINEZGRP.EXE to read Program Manager groups
      WINEZDLL.DLL     System DLL
      WINEZLIB.DLL     Used by WEZTBAR.EXE
      REGISTER.EXE     Registration program called by WINEZPRO.EXE
      WEZDSKTP.EXE     Desktop Manager called by WINEZPRO.EXE
      WEZTBAR.EXE      Toolbar called by WINEZPRO.EXE
      WINEZGRP.EXE     Group reader utility, called by WINEZPRO.EXE
      WINEZPRO.HLP     Windows 3.1 help file for WinEZ Pro
      README.TXT       Latest news about WinEZ Pro
      ORDERFRM.TXT     Registration Order form
      INSTALL.TXT      This file

      COMMDLG.DL_      Windows redistributable files, can delete if it already
      SHELL.DL_         exists.  Use EXPAND.EXE to expand file if needed


   4. From the Windows' Program Manager or File Manager, choose Run... from
      under the File drop down menu.  Enter the fully qualified filename of
      the WinEZ Pro executable to start it.  i.e. C:\WINEZPRO\WINEZPRO.EXE.

      To have WinEZ Pro startup automatically when Windows is started, create
      a new Program Item in the Program Manager's Startup group.  Use File |
      New | Program Item to create a new item (See you Windows User's guide
      for details on adding new items to the Program Manager).

Setting up the Power Toolbar
----------------------------
   1. Choose a Program Manager Group that will be used as the toolbar's
      Power Group.  Either create a new group or choose an existing one.
      Keep the name of this group in mind.

   2. Left click on the right most WinEZ Pro icon (EZ Task icon) to bring
      up the task pop-up menu.

   3. Choose the Options... menu item.

   4. In the Power Group section, use the drop down listbox to select the
      program Manager Group that you have chosen for your Power Group.  Press
      OK.  The dialog should go away.

   5. Right click on the left-most WinEZ Pro icon (EZ Launch icon) to bring
      up the Power Toolbar.  The contents of the toolbar should contain the
      same icons as in the Program Manager group you picked in step 1.

   6. To launch an application from the toolbar, just double click on its icon.
