Spelling Sentry 1.2 Spelling Sentry is a spelling-checker application for Microsoft Windows 3.1. Spelling Sentry can check and correct the spelling of words in Windows Write files, text files, and the clipboard. It comes with an 80,000-word lexicon (dictionary) and supports three types of user dictionaries. Spelling Sentry's 80,000-word lexicon is available in two versions, one including American spelling rules and the other including British/Canadian spelling rules. To conserve space, only the American version is provided with the evaluation copy. You can request the British/Canadian version when you register. Spelling Sentry's DLL (SPSENTRY.DLL) contains a general-purpose spell-checking engine which is available for royalty-free use in other Windows applications. See SPELLSEN.WRI for details.
