INSTALLING FREV

A.	Files located in FREV.ZIP

	1.	FREV.HLP - Windows 3.1 compatible Help file containing
		Federal Rules of Evidence

	2.	FREV.TXT - this text file.

	3.	FREV.ICO - icon file to install in Program Manager

B.	Using FREV.HLP with Windows Help from a Windows 3.1 application

	1.	Copy FREV.HLP to the desired directory or
		subdirectory (for example, c:\legalref).

	2.	To open FREV.HLP, open the Help Engine from your
		application by selecting a Help topic from the Help
		Menu.  Once Help is running, use the FILE/OPEN command
		to locate FREV.HLP and run it.

	3.	WINHELP.EXE can also be run directly from the File Manager
		or using the Program Manager RUN command to start the
		Help Engine.  Once Help is running, use the FILE/OPEN
		command to locate FREV.HLP and run it.

	4.	You can also double-click on the file FREV.HLP shown in
		a directory or subdirectory listing when using File Manager.
		As long as the Windows Help Engine WINHELP.EXE is
		associated with the .HLP extension, the Windows Help Program
		will run and load FREV.HLP for use.

C.	Using FREV.HLP as a "stand-alone" application

	1.	Copy FREV.HLP and FREV.ICO to the desired
		directory or subdirectory.

	2.	Install FREV.HLP as a Program Item in the desired Program
		Group using the Program Manager NEW command.  Specify:

			Description/Title:  FREV
			Program: WINHELP.EXE [path\]frev.hlp

				where [path] is the path to the location of
				FREV.HLP selected in C.1. above.

			Icon:	Select FREV.ICO as the Program Item
				     Icon if desired.

D.	Notes

	1.	For information about using Windows HELP and Windows
		HELP features, select HOW TO USE HELP from the HELP
		menu.

	
	2.	Minimizing FREV.HLP will display the Windows Help icon.

	3.	Suggestions, corrections are welcome.

     4.   Note a site license allows full use on the network at your site.

E.	Purchase.

	1.	FREV.HLP can be used on a tryout basis free of charge,
          and FREV.ZIP can be distributed to others unaltered
          free of charge.
			
	2.	If you decide to use FREV.HLP, site licenses are $25;
          individual licenses are $10.  Remit to the address below.
