 This disk contains a Address Manager version 3.0M

  Address Manager is a full featured address book designed
  exclusively for the Windows 3.1 environment.  This
  program provides the following features:  Full printing
  support for envelopes, address labels for American and 
  European (A4) laser and dot matrix, Rolodex(tm) cards,
  and reports; auto-dialer (with COM1-COM4 support); user
  defined address forms allow you to define your own
  address templates; user defined lists let you keep track
  of special addresses such as family, friends, business
  associates, local businesses, suppliers, customers,
  etc.  Up to 32 of your own lists.  We can even import
  your data from a text file.

 New features for Address Manager 3.0 

 1.  Full support for custom laser labels.  Define your
     own laser label layouts!

 2.  Nine new data fields including: country, title,
     department, pager phone, cellular phone, other
     phone, and 3 user definable fields.

 3.  New importer.  Lets you import any number of fields
     (up to the maximum of 28 available) in any order.

 4.  Enhanced user interface!  User lists now show up in
     the main view, and adding names to user lists is done
     by simply dragging with the right mouse button and
     dropping names on a user list.  Or drag the name
     (with the right mouse button) to any Word processing
     document and Address Manager will plop the Name and
     Address right in.

 5.  Hint of the Day.  Useful tips for using Address
     Manager more effectively.

 6.  New toolbars.

 7.  Font support for printing portrait and landscape lists.

 8.  Re-designed print engine and printing user interface.

 The print engine has been enhanced, and now allows you to
 print to practically ANY laser label form.

 Printing portrait and landscape reports can now be done
 using any font.

      IMPORTING DATA

 Address Manager can import data from a TXT
 (tab-delimited text) or CSV (Comma Separated Values) file
 in the correct format.  See the online help file for more
 details.







      HP LASERJET III INFORMATION


 Due to problems with the HPPCL5A.DRV printer driver
 distributed with Windows 3.1, Address Manager is only
 able to print envelopes to the HP LaserJet III printer
 IF IT IS YOUR WINDOWS DEFAULT PRINTER!.

 If you need to print envelopes, and require that the LJ
 III not be your default printer you may wish to try the
 driver for the "HP LaserJet Series II", with which a lot
 of people are having a good deal of success.

 A later driver is available from HP, and is available in
 both the HP and WINADV forums on Compuserve.  They may be
 available from your local BBS.
