Other games from Dave Wendling and the N.U.G.I. ConSorTium Quantum Jump ver 2.20 Quantum Jump will have you leaping through time trying to figure out who you are and what you are supposed to be doing. This door is getting very popular. Lots of great feedback! The Hack Ver 1.4 (c) 1994 The hack is a new door which will make your users think they are hacking into computer systems where they don't belong! It seems very real and doesn't let on until they quit the door that it was all a joke. I set it up much the way I set up for the BUSTED door. See the description below. your users will think they found something on your bbs that should not be there. Lots of fun....I set up a sysop only key on my bbs main menu. Some users leave it alone, but lots of others will push that key! Terra-Firma Ver 8.30 (c) 90-94 Terra-Firma is a huge space war INTERACTIVE strategy game. This is in no way a Trade Wars clone! The main goal in Terra is to explore the 10000 sector Universe and Colonize it. Robot Transports and Co-Pilots make it easy to build up your Empire even while you are off line! Space Pirates and Sector defense forces will give you a run for your money. Death Probes, Bounders, Sector Protectors, orbiting satellites, fighter ships, scout ships, area probes, sector probes and much more! Users can doanload the player docs from the main menu of the game! Terra-Firma is Interactive in real time! You can attack other players while on-line as well as trade with them and send messages....Terra ver 8.30 now has Robot computer players! Robot transports and much much more!! Who-Dunit? Ver 5.4 (c) 90-94 Who-Dunit is styled after the board game clue. Help Barney Fife discover Who-Dunit! Team play adds fast paced excitment to the game. Who-Dunit is also INTERACTIVE so you can send online messages to other players in the game and map out your strategy with your team. Each player has their own detective notebook to keep track of clues. Team members can look into each others notebook and add the clues to their own notebook. BUSTED! Ver 5.3 (c) 91-94 BUSTED is for those SysOps who have users that are always pushing keys they shouldn't looking for that hidden stuff! You set up a SysOp only Entry on your menu, or something to that effect. Once the user pushes the key he is let into a fake SysOp User Editor! He/she must enter a password to get in, but it doesn't matter what password they enter. They get in! The fake editor screen comes up with hello to the SysOp name and tells you what user is currently online and would you like to edit their stats? Well of course they will play! The game keeps track of each item they try and change such as number of down- loads or system security level. REMEMBER, it is all fake, in no way does BUSTED touch or even look at your BBS users data. All information is taken from the door drop file. Once the user quits the editor he/she is informened in a BIG way of whats up. Their BUSTED! Lots of fun to get caught! BUSTED comes with a Hall of Shame to show what other users have been BUSTED! Pass it On Ver 1.5 (c) 93-94 Pass it on is like the old parlor game where folks pass a sentence around the room to see how it comes out on the other end. Users pass a sentence around the BBS. Users are shown the two line sentence for 5 seconds and then have to type it back into the computer. Pass it on checks for blank lines and curse words. (we want to have a clean game). So it's ok if the kiddies play. Once ten people have played, Pass it on saves the entire 10 sentences in a file that can be reviewed by the players. The Enquirer Ver 6.5 (c) 92-94 The Enquirer door is a spoof on that great Logon door 'Today in History'. The Enquirer comes up with Enquirer type headlines! Users can leave the door just by pressing the return key, or read up to 10 pages of Headlines. Users can also leave their own Enquirer type head lines. All data files are ASCII and completely configurable by the SysOp. Lots of fun! Version 6.3 has a new look! INFORMATION about our doors: All N.U.G.I. doors are Multinode capable. Terra and WhoDunit are REAL time INTERACTIVE Multinode games. Locked baud rates up to infinty (well as fast as we can go now). They support ALL comm ports and IRQ's 1-15. All come with easy an INSTALL program and all set up exactly alike. very fast and simple. User time in game is of course configuarble by the SysOp. My bbs averages 60-70 calls a day for 2 nodes and every one is now complaining they don't have enough time to play the game. They want me add a 3rd node. You game has brought outstanding user response on my system so I decided to register it. I could not believe that I got my registration codes in the same call to your bbs when using my Credit Card. I was amazed to say the least. Thanks for your hardwork and you definately have a good thing going. Good luck with future versions/doors and I can't wait to see more door wares from you. McClure To: Walter Cade Subject: Terra Firma I agree with you Walter, Terra Firma is the best Online space game to come along in a real long time. Maybe it's because I have found a space game that I can win, I don't know. :-) But I really enjoy it and my users do also. David Wendling is one of the most dedicated programmers that I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to, and he sets a fine example of how all programmers, present and future, should treat their customers! Terra Firma is great fun now, and can only get better with the addition of realtime combat. It may well be worth adding another phone line and node just to play it! I found him to go to great expense to get me up and running. It seemed his games wouldnt run with Novell, which I am using, He immediately went to work on that and set all his games up to run under Novell withing a day. I applaud him for his TRUE efforts. I was really only planning on registering this game, but when I saw you package deal, I felt it was too good to turn down. Most other doors authors want over $100 for registering the amount of doors I registered through you for $35. I also thought you bbs setup for registration was outstanding. Sending the registration information and credit info online didn't suprise me, but the fact that I received my registration numbers following that simply amazed me. In my experience of calling bbses and running my own system, I never seen anything like that. I must commend you both on your door games as well as your bbs setup. They are all outstanding and I look forward to receiving/registering any new software you come out with. Thanks again and the best of luck.
