WinWorld v0.2a Copyright 1994, Eric Stern. This is my brand new Winsock MU* client. I am releasing it for ALPHA testing. Its been working fine for me, but I have no idea what it might do to your system. Since this is the first testing outside my system, it might have some pretty serious bugs. You may wanna wait for the first beta. That shouldn't be more than a week or so. For you brave ALPHA testers, give it hell and lemme know how it works. Any bugs/suggestions/etc, just send email (use the built in email sender!). Features currently implemented - auto-login - multiple simultaneous worlds - only one world displayed at a time (no window clutter!) - scrollback for all worlds, displayed or not, configurable # of lines per world - Command history, configurable size - TELNET protocol support (kicks in only if connected to port 23) - accepts ANSI ESC-sequence color codes (mostly works) - ultra nifty "world-button-bar" for quick world switching. - handles MUD-style partial line prompts (who thought THAT up?) - "Windows-based" configuration file (WinWorlds.ini) - full logging (by world, colours stripped) - definable function keys - built in bug report mailer (doesn't require any other software!) Known bugs: - black text on a colored background doesn't quite work Installing: Nothing to it. Unzip into your favorite directory. Move the .vbx files from the zip files to your \windows\system directory. If vbrun300.dll isn't in your \windows\system directory, you better go get it and put it there. The latest version of WinWorld is always available via anonymous FTP from ftp.mgl.ca in /pub/winworld. Note: Previously released as WinFugue. I changed the name at the request of Ken Keys, author of TinyFugue.
