after some experimenting with save a bunch of different games i discovered
to give yourself 1.6 billion dollars all you have to do is hex edit liglob.dat
in your save game dir.  just overwrite the first bytes with this

64 64 64 64 00 00 00 00

save it and thats it... i don't think it should have any ill effect but am
not possitive...

If you edit the first bytes to read FF FF FF 7F you'll get about 2
billion dollars.

If I remember correctly you can hexedit the liglob.dat file to get approx.
2 billion. change the first 4 characters to FF FF FF 7F (in hex).
