WAVE.EXE is FREEWARE from TRONiX Developer's written by: Corey Badeaux

Waveform is for use on Sound Blaster Compatable Cards only. Waveform shows
you on your monitor the sound waves that are actually comming thru your can
either from the LINE IN, MICROPHONE, or CD-ROM. You can use your sound card's
programs that came with it to set the ADC Sound Input. After Setting the 
Sound Input with a program such as "SBP-MIX.EXE" which comes with Sound 
Blaster Cards, just run WAVE at the DOS prompt. If your card is NOT at
Base Port HEX 220, which is the default, then just specify at the prompt:
EX: WAVE.EXE 240
If you do not have VGA support just use the /T option:
EX: WAVE.EXE /T
If both of the top issues apply then use both options in this order:
EX: WAVE 240 /T

Now that you have ran WAVE succesfully, you should see it in action.
Just use the options at the top of the screen to see 8 different types
of views for the waveform.
