You also need the file VBRUN300.DLL, which is not included, but is available on almost every BBS in the country. I didn't include it because almost everyone already has it, and it would super-inflate the archive. It is around 300K compressed. To Install: To install Super Clock, put the files SUPRCLCK.DLL, SUPCLCK2.DLL, APIGUIDE.DLL, CMDIALOG.VBX, and VBRUN300.DLL into your /Windows/System directory. The file SUPRCLCK.INI goes into your /Windows directory. The other files (INSTALL.TXT, SUPRCLCK.EXE, and SUPRCLCK.WRI can go into any directory, as long as they stay together. *** IMPORTANT NOTE: The file SUPCLCK2.DLL is new to version 1.1. Be sure not to miss it if you are upgrading from 1.0. Ok, now Super Clock should be installed. Please read the SUPRCLCK.WRI file for instructions on how to use this program. Super Clock is shareware. Please see SUPRCLCK.WRI for more information on what this means. SAVE THIS FILE!!!!!!! Below are lists of all files installed, and where they are located. If you want to delete this program, the list below will tell you where all the files are, so you don't have to pay big $$$ for a seperate un-installer. In your /WINDOWS directory: SUPRCLCK.INI - config file, delete. In your /WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory: SUPRCLCK.DLL - support DLL, delete. SUPCLCK2.DLL - support DLL, delete. APIGUIDE.DLL - support DLL, may be used by other programs. Make a backup before deleteing so if another program needs it, it won't be lost. VBRUN300.DLL - almost definitely used by other programs. DO NOT DELETE. CMDIALOG.VBX - almost definitely used by other programs. DO NOT DELETE. In whatever directory you chose: SUPRCLCK.EXE - Program file, delete. SUPRCLCK.WRI - Main Documentation, delete. INSTALL.TXT - This file, delete it last. There! please save this file and read SUPRCLCK.WRI for instructions on running this program. Thanx for reading! The FILE_ID.DIZ: FILE_ID.DIZ is a standard that was set so shareware authors could provide accurate descriptions of their programs. Therefore, if you plan to upload this file to any other BBS's (and please do!), you MUST include the ORIGINAL FILE_ID.DIZ. (the one that came in this archive.) Please do not replace this file with your own description, or delete it. Most BBS programs will automatically detect this file in the archive you are uploading, and use it as the description. If you are sure you are never going to upload these files, you may delete the FILE_ID.DIZ file. Note to sysops: Please leave the FILE_ID.DIZ alone, and don't put your own description in. I know of one sysop who would delete all the FILE_ID.DIZ's in the archives people uploaded, and replace them with BBS advertising. Please don't. Legal Stuff: This program is shareware. It is NOT public domain. You may upload the UNREGISTERED version anywhere you like, as long as all of the files are in their original and unmodified form, and that the archive you upload includes all of the files that were included in the original archive. DO NOT UPLOAD THE REGISTERED VERSION. This is illegal. I am not liable for anything this program may or may not do. If anything should happen to your computer, data, or something else you can not blame me, because I AM NOT LIABLE. Well, that's about all. Please read the SUPRCLCK.WRI file for instructions on how to use Super Clock. Thanks! Charlie Grasmick Author, Super Clock Copyright (c) 1994 Softekk Software Internet: sftk@MT.net -eof-
