This macro plays the standard YAHTZEE game for one player. Copy the macro into your WordPerfect macros directory (e.g., C:\WP60\MACROS). To access the macro press Alt-F10, type YAHTZEE and press ENTER. YAHTZEE is similar to five card draw, except it is with dice. Each round consists of up to three roles before scoring your hand. To play the game after the macro is activated: 1.) Select "Roll Dice;" 2.) Check the dice you wish to hold (the check boxes are directly above or below each die) and select "Roll Again;" or Select "Score" to score your hand; 3.) If you selected "Roll Again" the dice not held are re-rolled and you are given the option #2 one more time (see above); 4.) After three rolls you are taken to the score card to select which hand you have (or in some cases, what you don't have and want to score 0 on). The object of the game is to get as many points as possible. Scoring is as follows: Aces (or Ones) thru Sixes - Score equals the amount of dice with the appropriate number. For example, if you rolled four 2's and another number you would select "Twos" on the score card and receive 8 points. In other words 2 multiplied by the number of dice. 3 of a Kind - When the hand has three numbers of the same kind the score will equal the total of all five dice. If there is no 3 of a kind in the hand the score will be zero. 4 of a Kind - When the hand has four numbers of the same kind the score will equal the total of all five dice. If there is no 4 of a kind in the hand the score will be zero. Full House - When a hand with 3 of a kind and with 2 of a kind. For example, three aces or 1's and two 3's would be a full house. The score for a full house is 25 points. If there is no full house the score is zero. Small Straight - When a hand has four consecutive numbers, such as 2, 3, 4 and 5. The score is 30 points for a successful hand. Large Straight - When a hand has five consecutive numbers, such as 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The score for a successful hand is 40 points. YAHTZEE - When all dice are the same number, such as five 6's. The score for a successful hand is 50 points. Chance - This is useful for times when your hand cannot be scored in any other way. The total of all dice are added. Bonus Yahtzee is reached when YAHTZEE is rolled more than once. An extra 100 points is added to your total for each of these, in addition to whatever score is selected for this hand. A bonus of 35 points is given if the upper total "Aces" thru "Sixes" equals 63 or more.
