PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

SHORT DESCRIPTION:

  A Point Of Sale program that performs cash register, inventory control and
  expense account functions.  Features amount rounding, discount and tax
  calculation, change calculation, low stock warning, provides a wide range of
  statistics and docket in any language. Most functions can be switched off.
  Very quick to learn and easy to operate, due to colour coding and a always
  present help line .  Requires only inexpensive hardware.

LONGER DESCRIPTION:

  POSAT is a cash register program for any size shop, and can handle up to
  12,000 lines of stock. It is designed to operate on a normal computer, and
  will accommodate a cash drawer, a normal or docket printer and a scanner. This
  making it much cheaper proposition than an electronic cash register. POSAT
  is colour coded and has a constant help line and is therefore very easy to
  learn. POSAT will give you daily, monthly and yearly totals of takings and
  expenses and a spread sheet like summary. Also totals for every sales person,
  inventory control, low stock warning, and the choice of any length of stock
  code. Integrated functions to add new articles to the pricelist, few, alter
  or write any file, account or letter, plus start any other program (or even
  a game) while POSAT is running. Supports full keyboard or scanner operation.
  Choice of the docket in any width and language, rounding methods, addition
  of taxes where needed, discounts in 3 level chosen at the moment of sale and
  change calculation. Most functions can be switched off. Also a screen saver
  and many other functions are included as well as a tailor made install and
  setup utility. POSAT will help you to run your business more efficiently in
  less time.

DISTRIBUTION POLICY

  Shareware Vendors have permission to copy and redistribute this program on
  the following conditions:

  1. The product is distributed in its entirety without modification i.e. all
     files on the supplied disk.  Loader programs and documentation files may
     be added, and the product may be bundled with catalogues or other
     Shareware.

  2. The product is identified as Shareware in all catalogues and labelling,
     and recipients informed that the program requires further payment to the
     author if found useful.

  3. The file MANUAL.36 does contain reference to shareware programs suited to
     use in conjunction with POSAT3.6 and the offer to have them supplied when
     registering. As this may not be in a vendor best interest, I give you
     expressed permission to blank out the lines 346 to 354 in the file
     MANUAL.36. Please do not delete the lines them self as this will create
     havoc with the pagination. You may also remove this section No.3.

     Vendors who send an acknowledgement or a copy of their catalogue
     to me will be sent updates and other new programs periodically.
