I. The New EMNET
A. The Change
        ---===---
        When making EMNET, my main purpose was to give sysops, and
   their users as many conferences as possible.  But i soon after
   that realized that SysOps did not want to setup 69 conferences
   because it would take too long.  So i quickly added Fido-Net,
   well, that didnt help too much, So along with Newly Named 
   Co-Moderator or Operations for EMNET Patrick Farley(Zbigniew),
   he and i re-did the conferences, keeping the most popular ones
   from the Old EMNET, and making new ones.  We hope you enjoy.

B. Quick Look At Rules/Guidlines        
        ---===---
        If you are going to become another node on EMNET, then we
   really dont have much to restrict on you, and your bbs.. Except
   we do ask that we do read through the intructions thoroughly, and
   set it up correctly.  Also we do not want any pirate talk, or any
   cursing to be made PUBLIC, keep all that stuff PRIVATE..

        Both EMNET Hubs, are located in Nothern Virginia, we hope 
   that at some point we will have more hubs in Maryland, and Washington
   DC.. The Hubs are Darkworld BBS, and The Hawk BBS.. Both have fido/net
   and The Hawk BBS is the home for you QWK mail netters..

II. EMNET SETUP
A. Fido-Net Setup
        ---===---
        Fido-net can be really cool, and thats why emnet joined the fido
   link just recently.  Setting up fido-net can be painfull.. Zbigniew
   (Patrick Farley), is in charge of the fido/net setup.. What you will
   need for him to help you if you need it is the latest version of
   TriToss, TriDog, and version 2.12 of Front-Door, all available from
   The Hawk BBS (703) 922-7617.. Once given a fido/net address you will
   be given the emnet node list by us, and will be on in no-time...

B. QWK Mail Setup
        ---===---
        Inclosed in this packet is the default EMNET.CFG file for EMNET
   QWK Mail Setup, we ask that you use TriMail (latest version) when
   using EMNET QWK Mail.  You will need to call to d/l your qwk packet
   from The Hawk BBS, and upload your REP Packet as well.

C. GETTING STARTED - READ NOW - READ NOW -
        ---===---
        Getting started on emnet is a breaze.  Edit the EMNET.APP form
   and save it as YOUR BBS'S Name like THEHAWK.BBS ... Once uploaded to
   THE HAWK BBS, Smiley and Zbigniew will go over the application and
   then get in touch with you to tell you how to setup emnet with either
   QWK, or FIDO Style Support.  You will be given a txt file on what
   exactly to do, and then you may start A.S.A.P.

III. MORE ABOUT EMNET
A. EMNET Hubs
        ---===---
        If you would like to be an emnet support board you must upload
   the emnetsup.bbs file to The Hawk bbs.. An EMNET Support Board Must
   Have all of the following qualifications.
        A. You Must Be Getting Files From EMNET via FIDO-STYLE
        B. You Must Have TriMail 8.0
        
        An EMNET Support Board will have all emnet packets, and will
   become another QWK Mail Hub For EMNET.

B. EMNET Updates
        All emnet updates will be made in each monthly packet EMNETxx.zip
   Since we allready had an EMNET10.zip emnet20.zip emnet30.zip and an
   emnet40.zip we will just be going by EMNET1.zip, emnet2.zip, and so on
   to continue the NEW EMNET setup.. All emnet packets will be available
   on all HUBS, and EMNET Support Boards
