`2 Other patients flocked to the doorways when you were brought to the facility. Despite your kicking and screaming and your pleas of 'you got the wrong nut' and 'I'm not crazy, you morons!' you were locked away for your own protection. You were given a room, excessive sedatives, and all seemed well. But lately, disturbances are more common. Maybe the medicine isn't working. Small-scale riots are breaking out. Patients are in panic. People are getting beaten and even killed by each other. Patients are sleeping with doctors and nurses and each other, bribery is rampant, break-ins are common, and the place is really in chaos. Isn't it great to be alive? `5 Oh... by the way... this game isn't always fair. Whine all you want to `5 but oh well... you're no longer in the realm of the sane. * `2Lunatix is VERY easy to play... just read the menus and make a decision. If you're expecting a totally in-depth role-playing billions-of-options game... uh... sorry. This game is easy enough for anyone, yet it should hold everyone's attention. It's interactive -- you can write mail to other players, attack other players in their own rooms, or even carry on a conversation with other players in the cafeteria. `2The game really explains itself... you don't need any special instructions to get started... just have fun, and if you have trouble, try asking other players for advice (in mail or the cafeteria). `2Oh... IF this game isn't registered, you will only be able to reach Skill Level 5 -- meaning you can't win the game. (You must escape at Level 12 5 times to win the game). If this isn't registered... help your Sysop offset the cost... it's just $15. :) But even if your Sysop chooses not to register Lunatix, I hope you still enjoy the game. :) * `$Things to keep in mind: `@First of all, heed the advice of the nurse... it's very hard to do very well `@if the monsters that are thrown at you are too powerful for you... I really `@hate to give away 'key' points of the game... but just remember, you can't `@win if you're not prepared. `@Oh... about the door guards... It's cool to have them... but when you `@play your next turn, they're gone... so do you, as a level 2 character, `@really need a $500 door guard? Think about what you're protecting... 10% `@of your experience and half your on-hand gold (ha!) And occasionally 10% `@of your money stash. And as an attacker, is it WORTH $500 to break in to `@kill a level 2 player? That's just some friendly advice... the guards are `@there for rampant bribery, using them is your choice. `0Also, `2Do a little math... what's 10% of your Stash, added to your Stash `2each day? Well, it adds up... so if you're playing an unregistered game, `2it can greatly help you to donate a few Real Bucks to your Sysop to help `2register this game... You'll get Crazy Bucks in return. :) *
