What is Brenda??
-----------------
Brenda is a batch oriented image processing utility developed primarily 
to create VGA-friendly palettes and to efficiently remap images to VGA-
friendly palettes.  It does some other things, as well.

When Brenda is running, simply pressing 'F1' will call the online help 
system for a complete reference to Brenda features.  If you select a 
particular object and then press 'F1', you will be jumped directly into 
the help topic that relates to that object.

This archive

If you received Brenda on a floppy disk or some other medium, then this 
paragraph is not for you.

This archive (Brenda.zip) contains the contents of a standard Windows(tm) 
Setup disk.  If you are reading this file, it can only mean you have 
successfully extracted the files from the .zip file!!  If you got this 
package from an internet source, then it means you may have also suc-
cessfully restored the .zip file from a .uue encoded text file:  
Congratulations!

The best way to proceed is to copy all the un-zipped files to a floppy disk
(or to a common directory on a hard disk) and run the installation 
program: SETUP.EXE.

Installation:
--------------
Installation is fully automatic.  Simply double-click the
SETUP.EXE item in your Windows(tm) File Manager.  If you care 
to know, SETUP.EXE places the files as follows:

c:\Brenda (or any directory you specify as destination)
	Brenda.exe
	Brenda.hlp
	Brenda.wri
	Readme.txt
	altimg1.ico
	altimg2.ico
	An IMAGES directory is created and the files:
		barnrasn.jpg
		brenda.jpg
		foundry.jpg
		teacaps.jpg
		wbridge.jpg	...are installed in it.

c:\Windows\System
	imk.dll
	jpegio.dll
	knife.vbx
	threed.vbx

DeInstallation:
----------------
To deinstall Brenda * The Batch Renderer, simply delete the files
listed above from the directories where they have been installed.
