This is kind of an informal statement that I will be adding to from time to time. PRIME does not require its members to be Christian. SysOps have joined PRIME for reasons as varied as "just wanting to add some Bible oriented echos to fill things out" to "just wanting some wholesome technical echos that didn't have profanity." Some of the debates do get quite intense in the religious areas because a lot of people are being deceived in false churches and when they come face to face with what the Bible really teaches, sometimes sparks fly. Honest people seem to get along fine, those who are pretending to be something that they are not, often get quite embarassed and angry. When fakes get exposed here, often their first action is to try to bash the network as far and wide as they can while proclaiming "love" and "brotherhood" etc... We try to have a policy to let anyone who wants to, join. Rather than having a "screening" process. We are basic Bible Christians and have members of various Bible organzations as well as many fine SysOps that are not yet Christians. You may have heard this or that regarding PRIME. One of our purposes is to expose religious fakes and con-men. When this occurs, those so exposed are often not overjoyed about it and occasionally go on rampages against the net, but such is the way of things.... We could have heavy screening before admitting new members to prevent that sort of thing, but we think it is worth putting up with the occasional troublemakers in order to give any and everyone a chance to participate. Thanks for your interest! Steve Winter (and no, I did not author *any* of the wierdo garbage racist and other wierd counterfeit posts on the internet)
