If one phrase could sum up our mission here on Tech-Net, it would have to be "TECHNOLOGY TO THE MASSES". We hope you can help us reach our goal. ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ[TECH-NET MODERATOR POLICIES]ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ Tech-Net relies heavily on its Moderators to ensure the quality and validity of its message base, therefore we must ensure that the Moderators meet certain guidelines and qualifications. 1. All Tech-Net Moderators are appointed by the Net Administrator(N.A.) and any application may be declined for any reason by the N.A. 2. To apply for a Moderator's position with Tech-Net, fill out the TECH_MOD.APP file and upload it to The Archives BBS (Host System). 3. The Moderator's primary duty is monitoring Tech-Net users and their compliance with established Tech-Net rules and guidelines within their conference(s). 4. Tech-Net Moderators are expected to read the messages in their conference(s) on a daily basis, and are expected to write messages at least once a week. 5. Moderators should be courteous at all times to the users in his or her assigned conference(s). 6. Any serious problem that arises between user and Moderator should be taken up in the TECH_MOD Conference. 7. If a problem cannot be resolved in the Tech_Mod conference, it will then be turned over to the Network Administration for resolution. 8. A Moderator may be removed or suspended from official duties by the N.A. or his staff at any time, for any reason. Though it is doubtful that an incident like this will occur, we're covering our collective butts. :) ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ[TECH-NET SYSOP POLICIES]ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ For Sysop's rules see TN_SYSOP.TXT included with this packet.
