THE DEAD LOFTS - PWAD level for DOOM ][ - MAP01 ÚÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ Title : THE DEAD LOFTS Filename : MKLOFTS.WAD Author : Mark Anthony Klem Email Address : mark.klem@swcbbs.com Misc. Author Info : Author of the CRINGE! episode for Registered DOOM1. Earlier WADs for DOOM2 include MKMINES, MKHALLS and MKFRGTME. If you like this Level or any of my others, please send me some E-Mail feedback on them. Even if you think they're the worst pieces of garbage you've ever seen in a WAD, I'd like to know that, too, then maybe I can go get a book on how to make good DOOM levels and you won't have to suffer with flimsy WADs anymore. After I make a couple of more levels, I was thinking about putting them all in one WAD, back-to-back. Should I waste my time with it? Your Mission : This level was made mostly for deathmatch. Feel free to kill all your close friends in this one. The record on this level is 355 FRAGS in only 2 minutes. Just kidding. There are plenty of munsters if you want to play Single or Co-op. Additional Credits to : Peter Sigler & Eric Sargent for their time testing Multi-Player modes. Special thanks to everyone who plays this level and likes it. ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: Many WAD users, like myself, sometimes load the WADs that they download into their level editors and run checks on them to make sure they are okay. If you run a check on MKLOFTS.WAD, you will get a bunch of MISSING TEXTURE warnings, due to the fact that there are no lower or upper textures on some of the sidedefs. The level was intentionally designed that way in order to achieve various special effects. If you have your editor to fix the missing textures, then you will have screwed up the level instantly. Be assured that ALL sectors are closed, and all cross-refs are safe. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PUT THE TEXTURES WHERE I HAVE LEFT THEM OUT. Thank you. You may feel free to blow your nose at any time. Feel free to export the PLAYPAL or COLORMAP entries to use in your own WADs, but please give me credit for them; I would appreciate that. Also, you may freely use the music contained in any MK WAD, provided that you give me credit for writing it. Thanks. Same goes for the sound effects and any graphics. You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact. If it does get distributed in any CD or Disks, please send me some E-Mail so I'll know. I like knowing these things.
