ZCLD "Zip Code Locator for DOS" Version 1.0 - 06/10/95 (c)1995 by Kevin Krausnick ZCLD is a utility designed to allow quick and easy retrieval of Zip Code information for the United States. The program is most useful for finding missing address information for a customer or contact. If the Zip Code is specified, ZCLD will display the City and State for its region. Once five digits have been entered into the Zip Code text box, the search begins automatically. If the City and State are known, the first Zip Code in its region can also be easily found. Simply specify the two-letter abbreviation for the State, along with as many starting characters of the City name as necessary to narrow the search. Press TAB to move from field to field, then press ENTER to begin the search. If an exact match is not found, click the 'Previous' or 'Next' buttons to display other alphabetically listed Cities. ZCLD has been designed to take full advantage of a mouse, but a mouse is not required for the program to operate. All program functions can be accessed just as easily using the keyboard. Below is a summary of functions available, along with keyboard and mouse equivalents: Function Keyboard Mouse button Screen option ------------------------------------------------------------------- Get on-line help F1 N/A Help Clear data entry form F10 Center N/A Quit application ESC Right Close REQUIREMENTS: The only files required for program operation are ZCLD.EXE and ZCLD.DAT.
