   CuteFTP is a Windows FTP client, designed to simplify remote file transfers
via Internet. The key features of CuteFTP are:

   * Cute looks :)
   * Intuitive modern-style user inerface
   * Full screen browsing (with 2 configurable display modes)
   * Caching of recently visited directories
   * Integrated browsing of index files with files descriptions
   * Robust STOP command, capable of stopping any operation without
     loosing connection


INSTALLATION

   1. Unzip all files into some directory and add CUTEFTP.EXE to you
      program manager group.

   2. Copy CTL3DV2.DLL into Windows SYSTEM directory and delete it in
      CuteFTP directory.


REQUIREMENTS

   CuteFTP requires MS Windows 3.1 or later, WINSOCK 1.1 or later
network interface library and Ctl3dv2.dll (included).
   CuteFTP has been successfully tested with Trumpet 2.0b and Windows95.
   
   CuteFTP is not fully compatible with 32bit MS TCP/IP for Windows For 
Workgroups. Most notably, stop command doesn't work properly.


LIMITATIONS

   1. CuteFTP will only work correctly with UNIX ls-style listings. Most
      of the system I know use that format, so it should be ok for now.

   2. You can only send single files to a remote host.
