Program PLACES:
	The program may be used as an Atlas, a game, or as a
super-snazzy 'flash cards' aid to learning modern geographic
names and locations. The displays may be saved to bitmap files,
which may be customized as you wish in Windows Paintbrush or
your own standard bitmap handling application.

LOADING AND RUNNING:
	Places.exe is the executable program. That file and
ALL SUPPORTING FILES must reside in the same directory. See the
list of files below. It is suggested that you set up a
directory that contains ONLY the files for this program.

	Run Makegrp.exe to make a Program Group and Item so
that you may run Places by double-clicking its icon.
	
	When running Places, DO NOT PANIC. There is a
tremenduous amount of work that the computer must do to
display the details of the maps; it is not known how long it
may take for YOUR machine to set up the display. While the
machine works, the 'Hourglass' cursor is shown. On a Pentium
60 MHz machine, the slowest display of the 'global' map takes
approximately nine seconds; it may take up to a minute
on some 486 machines.

SHAREWARE:
	This fully functional program is made available on a
trial basis. IF YOU KEEP IT FOR USE, YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO PAY THE
REGISTRATION FEE OF $25. A gentle reminder will appear randomly
when you exit the program. You may print an order form at any time
by selecting 'Pay' from the program menu.

copyright. You may use the printed maps for personal purposes
without limit. IF YOU WISH TO DISTRIBUTE OR COPY THE PRINTED
