i)      OVERVIEW

Graph Paper Designer is a small utility that allows you to print graph
paper on your printer.  At this time, Graph Paper Designer will create
regular square graph paper, and hex paper.  A variety of parameters are
user configurable, so that you can customize your graph paper to your
needs.

Requires Microsoft Windows 3.1, and a printer if you want to print the
graph paper.

iii)    INSTALLATION NOTES

To install Graph Paper Designer, follow these steps:

1.      Create a directory on the disk you wish to install to
        (e.g. C:\GPD).

2.      Copy the zip file to this directory and unzip the files.

3.      In the Windows Program Manager, open the program group you
        wish to add Graph Paper Designer to (e.g. 'Accessories')

4.      Select File | New from the Program Manager menu.

5.      Enter the program name and path (e.g. C:\GPD\GPD.EXE).

6.      Enter the working directory (should be the directory Graph
        Paper Designer resides in).  E.g. C:\GPD.



iv)     REGISTRATION & LEGAL ISSUES


                         REGISTRATION

Graph Paper Designer is shareware.  This means that if you continue to
use the program after the 21 day trial period, you must register it.
Registration is A Good Thing for many reasons.  When you register,
you encourage shareware authors, such as myself, to continue to produce
quality, low-cost software.  This is to your benefit.

Registration of Graph Paper Designer is $15.00 per copy.  You get the
latest version mailed to you, sans nag screens.  You also will be
notified of future updates, and given a chance to upgrade at a discount
at that time.  You also become eligble for technical support.  To
register, print out the order form (in the file order.frm, or from the
help file), and send it with your check or money order to:

Payments must be in US dollars drawn on a US bank, or you can send
international postal money orders in US dollars.

                         DISTRIBUTION

You may freely distribute the trial version of Graph Paper Designer,
subject to the following restrictions:

1)      All of the files must be included, unmodified.
2)      You do not charge a fee for doing so, beyond a reasonable
        fee covering the cost of media, not to exceed $5.00
