AkMan for Windows  -  README.TXT


The StockManager  *** AkMan for Windows ***  is a multi-purpose
portfolio management und statistics utility for private share-
holders and investors.

Like in a card-index cabinet, a 'card' is created for each
company of which shares are held. It is saved in a portfolio data
file, which can be created from the main screen. On each card you
make a note of payments for purchases, receipts from sales,
dividends, banking or broker fees etc.

The StockManager AkMan
     - stores this data
     - creates an alphabetical summary comprising your effective
       average prices (very useful as print-out)
     - calculates your effective yield for each stock
     - helps with decisions concerning sales or additional purchases

You can also
     - find out the total value of your portfolio (data file) at
       certain prices (e.g. the prices published in today's newspaper)
     - let AkMan add up your profits/losses and the capital presently
       invested in a portfolio

The 'DEMO-VERSION' may be copied freely, as long as all the files
included are kept together. The files needed are:
     - AKMWDEMO.EXE (Demo-version of program)
     - CMDIALOG.VBX (necessary extension)
     - DEMODATA.AKM (Demo data file)
     - README.TXT   (this file)
also
     - VBRUN300.DLL (if not already present in the SYSTEM-directory)
