This EZ SOFTWARE is both DOS and Windows compatible. The install routine automatically sets it up to run from DOS. You can run the software from Windows: 1. by adding a start-button (icon), that you Double Click on to start it, or 2. by using the FILE - RUN option of Program Manager, and then entering: "c:\ezmoney\ezmoney" to start the software. You can add a start-button to any existing Program Group such as MAIN or GAMES, or you can set up a new Program Group and then add a start-button to it. It is suggested that you set up a new Program Group and then add a start-button to the new group. Here's how to do it. Start Windows and then: 1. Click on the FILE option of Program Manager 2. Click on NEW 3. Click on (New) PROGRAM GROUP 4. Type in a Program Group title (description): "EZ BUSINESS" 5. Press Enter, or Click on OK. Windows will automatically set up a new Program Group icon for use later. It also will present you with a blank Program Group window. To add a start-button to the window: 1. Click on the FILE option of Program Manager 2. Click on NEW 3. Click on (New) PROGRAM ITEM 4. Type in a title for the start-button: "EZ MONEY" 5. To move to the Command Line, use your mouse and put the arrow at the beginning of the Command Line and Click 6. Type in the run or start command: "c:\ezmoney\ezmoney" 7. Press Enter or click on OK. You will then get a start-button with the title you typed in. Double Click on it to start the software. To add more start-buttons, use the second set of steps. To add a start button for the stock module use "EZ STOCK" for the title, and use "c:\ezmoney\ezstock" for the start command. To add a start button for the AP and Wage tracking module, use "EZ PAY & WAGES" for the title, and use "c:\ezpay\ezpay" for the start command. To add a start button for the Income and Expenses module, use "INCOME/EXPENSES" for the title, and use "c:\ezpay\ezx" for the start command To modify a Program Group or start-button, Click on its icon to highlight it. Then click on the FILE and PROPERTIES options of Program Manager to modify it. To delete a start-button or a whole Program Group, Click on its icon. Then Click on the FILE option of Program Manager.
