Help Section:  VOLMR

Problem #1:
 I was working on a QWK packet for quite some time.  I have about 50 replies
 in the MSG packet.  But my computer has locked up.  What will happen to ALL
 of my replies?

Answer:
 For safe keeping, the MSG packet is kept in the VOLMR directory, not the
 VOLMRTMP.  Just re-start the session and if it says "REPLY PACKET FOUND",
 answer "YES", because the MSG packet will already exist, without the REP
 packet.

Problem #2:
 VOLMR says MAIN/START.MNU/ANS files not found, then puts me back at DOS.

Answer:
 You have moved, or deleted the MENU files and/or the FB files, both needed
 by VOLMR.  Please re-copy these files back into the directory.

Problem #3:
 When I try to REPLY to a post, EMAIL a user, or Feedback the SysOp, VOLMR
 clears the screen and returns me to the prompt.

Answer:
 VOLMR has to load VEDIT in order to use the Full Screen Editor.  If VEDIT
 does not have enough memory to run, it returns you to VOLMR, automatically
 aborting the Mail.  The Solution is to use a memory manager.  If you still
 have this problem, then use another editor (definable in PREFERENCES)

Problem #4:
 When the menu is displayed, I get a lot of Arrows (<-), Bars ([) and 
 Numbers being displayed on my screen, what's wrong?

Answer:
 You have not loaded and ANSI device driver, such as ANSI.SYS, to correct 
 this problem, go to your main VOLMR directory and ...
 
 COPY VOLMR.MNU to MAIN.MNU

 ... this will allow VOLMR to use its build in color routines.
