Format of Testing Files (Extensions: *.tes or *.cls) Testing files can be of two possible types: First, those used to determine the accuracy of an MPIL generated group of instances (use extension *.tes). These files require that the outputs for all test patterns are present (see EXAMPLE 1). Second, files that are used for classification (use extension *.cls). For these files, the outputs of all patterns are missing (see EXAMPLE 2). Otherwise the format of both files is identical. Note, that if the file contains more patterns than stated in the header, all the remaining one's are ignored during testing. The output of this operation can be found in the user selected output file (extension*.out). The following may serve as examples of the testing file format for even parity-2.
