If you are like me, you have a difficult time in finding quality kitchen
gadgets.  Finally, I located two catalog suppliers who off good value for
superior products.  The first is A Cook's Wares, 211 37th Street, Beaver Falls
PA, 15010-2103, PH. # (412) 846-9490.  The second is King Arthur Flour Baker's
Catalogue, PO Box 876, Norwich, Vermont 05055-0876.  Both of the companies
offer a catalogue of gormet and kitchen supplies.  I have found their
personnel to be both friendly and helpful.  Their prices might seem a little
high, but their wares are excellent.
If you live in or about Houston, you might visit Buffalo Hardware, in the
Avalon Shopping Center, corner of Westheimer and Kirby.  They carry a broad
selection of quality kitchen equipment.
In Austin, I like Breed & Co., 718 West 29th.
All of these establishments are worth a try.
