When summer comes, grow an herb garden.  Dry the herbs in the dehydrator.
Better than store bought.  We use a lot of tarragon in our house.  French
tarragon is a perenial herb (comes back every year).  In the summer we
use fresh.  In the winter we use what was dried from the summer pickings.
Big improvment in flavor.  Rosemary, basil, oregano, dill, to name just a
few.  If you use herbs a lot like I do you can't beat it.

Herb gardens only take a small area and for what they produce its worth
every bit of the time.
