From: CHAT CAT #2 @4203*2 Subj: Printer set up in Meal Master --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a post from Scott Welliver, the author of Meal Master answering a question in his support echo. I thought those not receiving FidoNet echoes may be interested in this. I know I was. I changed my printer set up to 33 lines. =========================================================================== From: Scott Welliver Refer#: NONE --------------------------------------------------------------------------- TS> How can I get MM to print out a series of recipes? First, you can change the "lines per page" entry on the printer setup screen (on the Maintenance/Setup menu) a smaller value, like 1/2 or 1/3 the actual page size. For example, if your page size is currently set to 66, try changing it to 33. With this setting, when you print a recipe of 25 lines, the printer will advance to line 34 --- the beginning of the second "half-page" --- to start the next recipe, instead of advancing to the next whole page. Another method is to change the "lines per page" entry to "999". This value tells Meal-Master to ignore page breaks entirely, so it will just print one recipe after the other. The bad thing about this method is that it will print right across the bottom of pages, unless your printer has a "perforation skip" feature. But it will save a lot of paper! Another method would be to Export the recipes into a file, then print the file. Using this method, you can also load the file into a word processor where fonts can be changed, and you can manually place page breaks exactly where you want them. Hope this helps... Let me know if I can help further! ...Scott Welliver ...Episoft Systems
