      Title: Drum Layer Cake

      Yield: 16 servings

      1 pk Ducan Hines Moist Deluxe
           Cake mix (any flavor)
      1 ct Duncan Hines Creamy home
           Style vanilla frosting
           Green food coloring
           Thin pretzel sticks
           Candy-coated choc. pieces
           Lollipops

  Preheat oven to 350 F.  Grease & flour two 8 or 9 inch round cake pans.
  Prepare, bake & cool cake following package directions for basic recipe.
  To assemble, place half the vanilla frosting in small bowl.  Tint with
  green food coloring; set aside.  Place one cake layer on serving plate.
  Spread with half of untinted vanilla frosting.  Top with second cake
  layer.  Spread green frosting on sides of cake.  Spread remaining vanilla
  frosting on top of cake.  Arrange pretzel sticks and candy-coated
  chocolates on sides of cake in upside down V shape.  Place lollipops on
  top of cake with sticks crossing each other for drumsticks.

  Note: For a brighter green frosting use paste food colors available form
        cake decorating stores or specialty shops.
