---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.00 Title: MARGARITA Categories: Beverages, Alcohol Yield: 1 servings 1 1/2 oz Tequila 1/2 oz Triple Sec 1/2 oz Lime Juice, unsweetened Begin by wetting the rim of the cocktail glass with a fresh lime or lime juice. The easiest way is to invert the glass and dip it into lime juice. Next, while the rim is still wet, dip it into a plate of salt so that the glass is rimmed with salt. Put the Tequila, Triple Sec, and unsweetened lime juice into a blender. Mix. Add ice and pour into a cocktail glass. If you want the drink straight up, merely strain from blender. (This recipe can also be done with a sweet-sour premix in place of the lime juice. Cointreau can be used in place of Triple Sec. In place of the unsweetened lime juice, you can also use Rose's lime juice.) Garnish with a slice of lime. To make a STRAWBERRY MARGARITA, add two fresh or frozen strawberries and 1/2 oz. of strawberry liqueur. To make a SUPER MARGARITA, use 1 1/2 oz. tequila, 1 1/2 oz. Cointreau, and 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice and follow the other directions above in making. To make a BANANA MARGARITA, add 1/2 of a ripe banana and 1/2 oz. of banana liqueur to the above recipe.
