---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.00 Title: Holiday Eggnog Categories: Beverages, Cheese/eggs Yield: 4 servings 2 Eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 c Sugar 1 tb Flour 1 1/2 c Scalded milk 1/8 ts Salt 1/2 ts Vanilla 1/4 c Brandy 1/4 c Rum 1/2 pt Whipping cream, whipped Combine eggs, sugar and flour in top of double broiler. Pour milk slowly into egg mixture, blending well. Cook over simmering water, stirring constantly, until mixture coats spoon. Remove from heat. Stir in salt and vanilla. Cool quickly by pouring custard into chilled bowl or place pan in cold water. Refrigerate, covered, overnight. Just before serving, stir in brandy and rum. Fold in whipped cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. -----
