May 95 Review No.: 18 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Title: MRDM (Series?) Game: Doom Filename: MRDM2301.ZIP Size: 45k Author: Michael Rapp e-mail: michael.rapp@aquila.com Maps: E2M3 Type: normal Sounds: no Graphics: no Music: no [ Level construction ] ---------------------------------------------- YES! Very nice level. Lots of rooms, ways, stairs, traps, windows and a few lifts. Two keys used. Very good light usage at all. The whole level is very symmetricaly constructed. Good for two player games. [ Texture design ] -------------------------------------------------- Only a few misaligned textures. Clean work. The author used very good combinations of textures. Every room has it's own athmosphere. It is not an evil level, more a hightech one. This level could be one of my own. :) [ Bugs ] ------------------------------------------------------------ No Tuttie-Frutti, Medusa or HOM effects. [ Enemies ] --------------------------------------------------------- Quite challenging, lots of Shotgun Guys, Imps and Pigs. A few Cacos and Barons. Very good placed! Alas, there is only one difficulty setting: Ultra Violence. [ Things ] ---------------------------------------------------------- Exact amount of ammo and health. Delicious. [ Scoring ] --------------------------------------------------------- 95% What a nice thing! Download it immediately. There seem to be more from Michael, so I have to look for them. :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------
