	Congratulations are in order!  You have just downloaded the 
VideoPrompter Demo from VID-Art Productions.  This is a hearty
subset of our full VideoPrompter Professional version of the 
software.  The Demo version will actually suffice as the only
teleprompter you need if your prompting requirements are minimal.  
It will also allow you experience for yourself just how much a 
teleprompter system can enhance your video productions. 
 
While the Demo Version obviously does not contain all of the
features in the VideoPrompter Pro Package let me explain what it 
DOES include and what you CAN DO with the VideoPrompter Demo.
 
The VideoPrompter Demo provides you with:

 >Direct View smooth scrolling text displayed on your PC monitor. 
 >Remote Control using a standard IBM-PC Key Board, featuring: 
   Speed up smooth scrolling 
   Slow down smooth scrolling 
   Reverse smooth scrolling 
   Pause Scrolling 
 >Import up to 70 lines of script from any word processor  
   (the pro version can import up to 5000 lines) 
 >Integrated Text Processor for composing or editing scripts 
 >Works on any VGA, EGA, CGA  display system operating on any 
   IBM compatible AT (286 or above) computer. 
 >VideoPrompter Demo Users Guide - ( on README.DOC disk file)

Quick Start Instructions for Using Your VideoPrompter Demo Program

1. Place your  VP-Demo  Diskette in Drive A (could also be
loaded onto Drive C:) 
2. At the A: prompt type: VPROM <Enter>
3.At the VideoPrompter working screen  Press the F5 key to 
load a text file 
4.Use the arrow keys to highlight the file SAMPLE.TXT  
and press <Enter> 
5.Press the F2 key to begin scrolling of the sample text. 
   Hold down the <->(minus) key to slow the scrolling rate 
   Hold down the <+>(minus) key to speed up the scrolling rate 
   Press the <Backspace> (back arrow) key to reverse direction 
   Press the <Spacebar> key to pause scrolling

Go ahead, give it a try.  Set up your monitor beside your camera, 
place your key board in your lap and you have a "remote" 
controlled teleprompter using the VideoPrompter Demo.
