Welcome to the One_Net Christian Network. Where Christians gather to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Our belief is centered on the sixty-six books of the Bible, God's Word to humanity. We are aware that sincere Christians often differ in their interpretation of secondary matters, and there is room for all Christians to lovingly and respectfully disagree on these subjects. But there are, however, essential issues on which the Bible is very clear. It is these issues that we wish to address. WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE We believe in one God who has revealed Himself to us His nature as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that all people are alienated from God because of sin. We believe that God's work in Jesus Christ in dying for all people on the cross of Calvary makes it possible for all to be forgiven and enter into a personal relationship with their Creator, by grace through faith. Christians are people who now enjoy this personal relationship, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, enabling them to grow in holiness. With this in mind, our statement of faith is this: "SOLA GRATIA, SOLA FIDE, SOLA CHRISTUS" We believe the Bible in its entirety, both the Old and New Testament, to be the inspired, infallable, authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in faith and life. (2 Tim 3:16, Isaiah 40:8) We believe that there is one God (Deut 6:4), eternally existant in three persons (Matt. 28:19-20): Father (Matt. 5:16, Mark 14:36, Gal. 4:6), Son (John 3:16, Matt. 11:27, John 9:35), and Holy Spirit (John 14:16, 26; Acts 5:4). We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 20:28), in His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matt 1:18-25), in His sinless life (Heb 4:15, 2 Cor. 5:21), in His miracles (all throughout the Gospels), in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (Mark 10:45, 1 Tim 2:6, Rom. 5:9, 1 Pet 1:19), in His bodily resurrection (1 Cor 15:3-4, Rom 1:4, John 2:19-21), in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19, Luke 24:50-51, Acts 1:9-11), and in His personal return in power and glory (Rev 19:16, John 14:3, Acts 1:11). We believe that man was created in the image of God (Gen 1:26): that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God (Gen 3, Rom 3:23); and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature (Rom 3:23, Psalm 51:5). We believe that all who reach the age of moral awareness and who willfully continue in disobedience to God are individually responsible for their separation from their Creator. (Ezek. 18:20, Rom 1:18-20) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures (1 Cor 15:3-4), as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice (Rom 5:9, 1 Pet 1:19); and that all who believe in Him are forgiven and justified on the basis of His shed blood (John 3:16, Rom 10:9-10, Acts 16:31, John 5:24, Gen 15:6, Rom 2:13, Rom 3:24-26, Rom 5:1, Rom 15:9). We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in the lives and activities of Christians (John 14:16-17,26; John 15:26, John 16:7-14, Acts 1:8). We place no limitation as to the extent that the Holy Spirit can work or how the Holy Spirit can manifest Himself, except to the truth that the Holy Spirit will never reveal or do anything that contradicts what has been already revealed in the Word of God. We believe in the existence and personality of Satan (Job 1-2, 1 Pet 5:8, Matt 4:1, Rev 20:2), his total opposition to God (Isaiah 14:12-14, John 8:44, Matt 13:19) and his power over the unregenerate (2 Cor 4:4). We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life (believers: 1 Thess 4:16, 1 Cor 15:51-54) and they that are lost (non-believers) unto the resurrection of damnation (Rev 20:11-15). (John 5:28-29, Dan 12:2-3, Acts 24:15) We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby enter into a secure relationship with their Creator as children of God. (John 3:3-8, Rom 8:31-39, John 5:24). And, we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ commissioned each and every Christian to preach the Gospel to all men, baptizing and discipling those who have believed. (Matt 28:19-20)
