UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION

If you are upgrading from version 1.30 to a higher version (v.1.35+)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Copy the SQUAD.EXE file into your game directory (overwrite SQUAD.EXE).
2) Copy the COPUTILS program to the game directory (overwrite COPUTILS.EXE).
3) COPUTILS.EXE v.1.35 or higher will only work properly with SQUAD.EXE
   version 1.35 or higher.
4) Run CONVERT.EXE *ONLY ONCE* to convert the database to the new version.
   If you ran CONVERT.EXE for v.1.35 you *DO NOT* have to do it again for
   version 1.36, etc.
5) You're DONE!

If you are upgrading from version 1.10 or higher to version 1.30
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Copy the SQUAD.EXE file into your game directory (overwrite SQUAD.EXE).
2) Copy the COPUTILS program to the Cop Squad directory.
3) COPUTILS.EXE will only work properly with version 1.30 or higher.
4) You're DONE!

If you are upgrading from version 1.09 to version 1.10:

1) Copy the SQUAD.EXE file into your game directory.
2) Delete the SQUAD.OVR (it is now not needed).
3) If you have a REGISTRATION Key Code enter your information into the
   SAMPLE.KEY file *THEN* change the SAMPLE.KEY file name to SQUAD.KEY.
4) If you are *NOT* a registered user, ignore the SAMPLE.KEY file.
5) REGISTER.EXE, the "branding" program is no longer needed.
6) You're DONE!

If you are upgrading from version 1.02 (or higher) to version 1.09:

1) Copy the SQUAD.EXE file into your game directory.
2) Copy the SQUAD.OVR file into your game directory (v.1.06 and higher).
3) You're DONE!

If you are upgrading from version 1.00 or 1.01 to version 1.02:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Copy the SQUAD.EXE file into your game directory.
2) Run the 101TO102.EXE program. It will convert the data file to version 1.02
   data format (new fields were added).
3) You're DONE!
