AKIRA's WAD version 1.0

INTRODUCTION
------------

For anybody who has the previous version, AKIRA.WAD, AKIRA100.WAD has some additional sounds, and some different sounds than that one.  For those who don't know about it, AKIRA's WAD is a sound effects replacement for Doom I.  It works with Doom II, but it offers no sounds for any of the new Doom II monsters. 

MATERIALS USED

Sound Card (duh!)
Walkman
Voyetra's WinDAT sound editor - Used for most of the recording                                 sessions.
Windows Sound Recorder -  It's sucks, even the Win 95 version, but it                           had some effects which WinDAT didn't have.
Microphone - So I could provide a voice for the Cyberdemon.

Sample Sources

Star Wars 
  - laser and explosions sounds for the Plasma Rifle and BFG 9000, etc.

Jurassiac Park 
  - the dinosaur sounds were perfect for the Demons, Cacodemons, and       Imps.

Anime, such as Tenchi Muyo, Project A-ko, Dagger of Kamui, and Flare (if you've never seen Flare, DON'T!!!)
  - used for teleport sounds, the Baron of Hell, the dying screams of      the Former Humans, and splatter sounds.

Enjoy the WAD!  The AKIRA.BAT file will automatically run Doom with the WAD.  Adjust the parameters to your tastes if you wish.  Distribute like mad!
