R U L E S   F O R   T H E   A N S I   A R T   C O N T E S T

 <1>    All ansi artwork must be the original work of the person submitting
it for entry in this contest.  All entries will be on public display
and may be networked with other systems, local and/or national.
No photo scanning to ansi conversion will be allowed. Be creative!
Anyone submitting copyrighted or comercial art will be disqualified
and locked out of this BBS!

 <2>    Anyone may submit an entry for this contest, but the judging of the
ansi artwork will be done by the subscribing members of this system.
Those with a 21 day free trial membership to this BBS may enter the
contest, but will not have voting rights in determining the outcome
of this contest.

 <3>    All entries must be submitted by 12/31/95 to qualify for contest
entry.  Judging by subscribing members of this BBS will take place
immediately following the contest entry deadline and will end on
01/31/96.  During the judging period, contest standings will be
updated and posted as each subscribing member votes on it.
 

 <4>    There will be a winners list showing the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners
and the first two runners-up posted on 02/01/96

 <5>    Prizes will be mailed out to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners, so be
sure we have your correct address.  Any prizes returned to "THE MODEM
CONNECTION!" marked 'Return To Sender' because the addressee was not
a resident at that address, will result in the disqualification of the
contestant and their contest entry for providing this service with
false information!  In the event of such an occurrence, the next runner
up will be moved up in the prize ranking and we will re-distribute the
prizes in accord with the new contest standings.
