Future versions of the Procrastination Clock will more accurately predict the remaining time based on these additional factors: Height & Weight Smoking & Drinking Habits Medical conditions Family medical history Marital & Economic status The information used in the Procrastination Clock was supplied by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Center for Health Statistics. the Procrastination Clock is for entertainment purposes only. ============================================================ Setup: ============================================================ Simply copy DEATH.EXE to any place you wish on your system, put DEATH.INI into your WINDOWS directory (usually C:\WINDOWS), and execute using any means within windows. You can configure the Procrastination clock to appear whenever Windows starts, and leave itself on your desktop. ============================================================ Display: ============================================================ the Procrastination Clock has two main windows. The Settings window and the Clock window. The Settings window has three tabbed dialogs where you can enter information about yourself and control the clock display. The three dialogs are described below: Personal Infomation Dialog: Enter your Name and Address. Most importantly enter your birth date in this dialog. Critical Information Dialog: Check the appropriate radio buttons that describe your Race and Gender. All other controls on this dialog are not yet functional and have no effect. Clock Settings Dialog: Select the radio button for the types of labels you want displayed on the clock. Use Extended for full labels, Shortend for abbreviated labels, or None for no labels. Select the type of information you want displayed on the clock from the list of display formats. Check the Ticker Tape Factoids check box if you want scrolling factoids about health, fitness, and living well to randomly scroll by on the face of the clock. The clock is displayed in a window and the specific display format can be set from the Settings window. ============================================================ Control: ============================================================ Right clicking on the Clock window will display a menu that allows you to turn the title bar on or off for the clock window, allow the clock to automatically size the window to the amount of data displayed, or bring up the Settings window. Left click plus drag and drop the clock window anywhere on your desktop.
